Shane Cotton exhibition at the Wellington City Gallery from 15 June – 6th October open 10an – 5pm daily in Civic Square, Wellington.

This is an exceptional show of huge paintings by this well know artist. I was held entranced by the images of birds seemingly falling in space, almost 3D type images that was hard to leave.  I would love to visit again and possibly pick up the publication accompanying this exhibition.

I personally am not too keen on the spiritual works but a gallery assistant told me that many people found them confronting and controversial.
