Visiting the Andy Warhol exhibition at Te Papa, Museum of New Zealand in Wellington was very enlightening. Not a big fan of his works previously it is always interesting to read the background behind the artwork to gain more understanding into the artist. The artwork was large and thought provoking. But I think the majority of visitors liked the room with the silver clouds – children love interaction and this brought out the kid in most of the adults including me. In a room where the walls were covered in bold colours – large ‘balloons’ that looked like silver pillowslips floated around and could be moved by delicate kicks and pushes – very relaxing.
