The Pianist is described as a solo comic contemporary circus piece by Thomas Monckton.  I was lucky enough to view this piece with a class of young school children – their laughter and naive comments in response to the comic performance drew laughs from the rest of the crowd.  It was a well presented performance hard to describe but including comedy, agility which surprised at times but producing an hour of laughter.  Highly recommended.
