Jade String Quartet in concert with Auckland Chamber Orchestra’s David Guerin on the Michael Parekowhai’s Venice Biennale sculptured Steinway piano held at the Tauranga Art Gallery atrium.  First half Solo Cello andthen mozart sonata for piano with violin accompiament were lovely pieces but the Schubert Trout Quintet was a beuatiful piece for the quartet – with the reminder of Waiting for God TV series which uses part of it as theme music.  The art gallery atrium produces very clear defined music which I enjoy from the upper gallery.  Great value from a great location.
