A powerful storytelling play set in a small rural pub in Ireland.  This play is raved about, great reviews and booked out for many performances so went in with much expectation.  The acting by Melbourne Theatre Company was very confident and at times the audience was holding its breath waiting for the story of the moment to reach its conclusion.

I personally found myself expecting something more, something profound from the storytelling perhaps, some connection – but there is no denying the excellence of the performers in the telling of the anecdotes.
