Stated as a rock opera based on the journey of middle age starring Shane Cortese and Delia Hannah playing at Baycourt Theatre in Tauranga I was a little surprised when I encountered a New Zealand written and produced musical instead of the ‘rock and roll’ I’ve been used to from Shane Cortese.

The singing and voices of Shane and Delia were exceptional and opera quality, the storyline a bit kiwi realistic but I found the music a bit laboured.  Once arriving at the ending you felt good and happy to have watched the musical but not overwhelmed.
