Raised in the beautiful the hills of Whakamarama, Elliot’s love of art began at an early age. His grandfather George Harrison opened Harrisons Gallery, 11th Avenue, Tauranga in the 1960’s and today Elliot continues a long family tradition of supporting other artists in the Bay of Plenty alongside his own art practice.
Elliot completed a Bachelor of Media Arts at Wintec in 2009 and opened Zeus Gallery in 11th Avenue in the beginning of 2013, relocating to Chapel Street in 2016.
Elliot works mainly in painted medium, acrylic on canvas, to create contemporary images of the natural world. His works are characterised by stylised landscapes and wildlife forms, smooth fresh colour gradients and detailed pattern overlays.
