Autumn Afternoon, Minden

Bruce informed me he painted this on site, a short distance from the Minden Lookout, at Te Puna, Tauranga.  It is a view I know well …   spending time at the lookout taking in the view, walking dogs in the rural area and taking time out to realise how insignificant each of us and/or our problems are in the larger scheme of things – or that’s what this view always meant to me.

This could have been a commissioned piece, the view is so aligned with my memories of the view from this particular local road.
