Becoming in red

A beautiful thick and rich oil on canvas paintwork showing a garden flowering plant from the artist’s garden. The oil is still strong smelling although produced in 2018. I love to see the variety and depth of the oils used, but stand back from the canvas and the object is obvious, an impressionist work which is delightful to gaze at time and time again.
