Ohope

An acrylic and Indian ink on canvas purchased direct from the artist Elliot Mason in Tauranga. This lovely piece showing a sea gull circling over the waters near Ohope is one of three, another in this series is Mauao West. Both artworks have a golden ‘hue’ to them which seems to come alive when even a small amount of direct sunlight plays on the artwork or even nearby, turning the picture into a sunset or sunrise sensation.
