Trickling Buttresses White Terrace

Albumen photographic print by Geroge D Valentine who visited the Pink and White terraces in 1885, as shown in John Leech Gallery Ltd exhibition “The Lost 8th Wonder” in July 2011.

“Trickling Butresses, White Terraces shows a detail of the silica which formed the terraces,  The sculptural nature of this gives the subject a very other world feeling.”  As stated in the Certificate if Authenticity from John Gow, Director of John Leech Gallery Gow Lansford Gallery that accompanies this print.

Print has been treated, is framed with a tasteful 30mm timber frame around a cream matt board, glass protected and kept in a no sunlight environment for preservation.  Actual print size is 186 x 287mm.
