Yes it is a genuine full size surfboard painted in oils by Dean Buchanan. I feel it is the best I’ve ever seen, the paint very reminiscent of Dean Buchanan oil paintings and other objects.

Several different landscapes, telling a story or leaving that up to you to bring to life. One of those artworks you can look at time and time again and see something new.

I have no link with surfing, although living in New Zealand, North and South Islands results in a lot of time spent walking on ocean beaches. For me it was the painting, the colours, the beauty!
